Join the Fort Smith Paddling Club at the River Rendez-Vous! The premiere event to experience the might water on the northern Slave River.
River Rendez-Vous is an event catered towards the magnificent wild water features along the Slave River just outside of Fort Smith, NWT. From the team that brings you Paddlefest , this event is an action packed schedule of beginner, intermediate and advanced activities for all ages to enjoy getting on the water and having fun!
This weekend is free to all Fort Smith Paddling Club members including access to events, equipment rentals and food & drink throughout the weekend!
The Slave River Paddlefest debuted in 2009 and has been bringing an international crowd since then. In 2023, the decision was made to reduce the scale of the event so that new board directors can ease into the legacy of the Slave River Paddlefest. Don't miss your chance to get out on the water with the River Rendez-Vous!
Membership is available for a small fee: Individual Adults & Youth ($35/person) and for Families ($70/family + $5/person AWA membership). Membership registration takes place on an online portal here https://www.albertawhitewater.ca/ft-smith-paddling-club
