Canada Day 2023

Let's Celebrate Canada Day together!

We are excited to announce this year's celebrations will be at Conibear Park!

Line the streets with red, white, and orange as we show pride and respect.

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the Town of Fort Smith is located on the  traditional and ancestral lands of the Salt River First Nation, Smith Landing First Nation, and the Fort Smith Metis. We acknowledge the traditional Dene name for the Fort Smith region is Thebacha which translates to "by the rapids”.

The Town of Fort Smith recognizes that Canada Day can mean different things for different members of our community. As a result, we hope to ensure that Canada Day in Fort Smith is a safe and inclusive family-friendly event with a range of  activities including live music, food, and fun activities.
