Controlled Burning at the Fort Smith Landfill
The Town of Fort Smith advises residents that controlled burning activities will take place at the Fort Smith Landfill from October 27 to 30, 2026.
During this time, residents may notice smoke visible in the area. These activities are being conducted under an approved burn permit and are subject to established fire safety conditions.
Residents are asked to use caution in the area.
