The Town of Fort Smith advises residents and businesses in the affected area that an emergency water service interruption is required due to an unexpected water leak.
Water service will be shut off beginning at 5:00 p.m. today, June 23, 2026, to allow crews to complete repairs. Service is expected to be restored by approximately 8:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water for drinking and household needs before the interruption begins.
