Public Notice: Land Administration Bylaw No. 1065
The Town of Fort Smith has given Second Reading to Land Administration Bylaw No. 1065 and is inviting community feedback before it returns to Council for Third Reading on December 2, 2025.
This bylaw sets out how the Town acquires, manages, and disposes of municipal land—including land pricing, sales, leases, and development procedures. It will replace the existing Land Administration Bylaw (No. 862) once adopted.
Residents are encouraged to review the draft and share comments by Friday, November 28 at 4:00 p.m.
