Municipal Buildings will be closed on Monday, September 30th for the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation.
On Monday, starting at 4:30 PM, the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre will be hosting a Smudging Ceremony, Star Quilt Reveal, a Stew and Bannock Dinner, and documentary screening for the community to engage in valuable discussion around Truth & Reconciliation efforts within Fort Smith. This event is in partnership with the Salt River First Nation, the Fort Smith Métis Council & Uncle Gabe’s Friendship Centre and will be worth the visit.
Regular hours to return on Tuesday, October 1st.
