Hydrant Flushing
Starts: Wednesday, June 22
Ends: Friday, June 24
The Town's bi-annual flushing is done to remove any built-up sediment in the lines that may cause an issue.
Some households may see sediment in their water after flushing has been completed.
This is not a health hazard and is perfectly fine to drink and use. Flushing your taps for 5 minutes will get rid of this and improve the aesthetic quality of the water.
Removing the screen on your tape while flushing it would also be beneficial.
