Pine Lake - Wood Buffalo National Park
Pine Lake is an aquamarine lake in the middle of the boreal forest, about 60 km (a 45-minute drive) from Fort Smith.
Created by a series of three sink holes, the lake is a get-away destination for residents of Fort Smith with its sandy beaches and warm waters.
Pine Lake Day Use Area and Campground
- Open from the May long weekend to the September Labour Day weekend
- Campsites available for both RVs and tents, hookups are not available

Pine Lake Cabins
On the shores of Pine Lake, these cabins provide some of the comforts of home with great views and access to nature and nearby trails.
Rent a cabin from the May (Victoria Day) long weekend until September 30.

Kettle Point Group Campsite and Cabin
The Kettle Point Group Campsite features:
- Open from the May long weekend to the September Labour Day weekend
- A large log cabin with a wood stove nestled along the lakeshore
- Tenting area
- Beach
- Outdoor fire pit and firewood
- Picnic table
- Outhouse
- Playground
Reservations are required, with a minimum group of eight people. Please call (867) 872-7960 to register.
