Lane swim offers specific session for swimmers of various skill level to use our four-lane set-up. Each lane is 25 meters long and vary from 7.5-6.8 feet wide. Lanes can be used by one or multiple swimmers at the same time. Swimmers have access to specialized equipment such as fins/flippers, hand swim paddles, pull buoy, and kick/flutter board. We do not offer swimming googles. Access to this session includes drop-in fees and or membership passes.
A great low impact activity to keep you fit while being gentle on your joints. Swim, walk or simply get your body moving in the water. These sessions geared towards individuals 50 years and older. A variety of aquatic equipment is available to participants such as pool noodles, flotation belts, resistance paddle and floating dumbbells along with specialized lane swim equipment. Access to this session includes drop-in fees and or membership passes.
Public Swim offers a free-to-play session for individuals of all ages. Participants get access to a variety of aquatic toys and flotation devices. This session offers access to water slides. Access to these sessions include drop-in fees and or membership passes.
Hourly pool rental may be offered during specific times. For pool rental availability please contact us at (867) 872-4732. Pool rentals may not be booked over the phone.
Rental forms must be completed in full and booking fees must be paid to reserve/book rental. A copy of pool rental forms can be fond in attached document at the bottom of this page.
Swimming lessons are offered during specific periods throughout the year. Swimming lessons offered are through the Alberta & NT Lifesaving society. Swimming lessons offered depend on instructor availability and demand.
Parents & Toddlers sessions offer a free-to-play environment where you and your little ones get to explore and play at your own desire and pace. This program is for children 5 and under and takes place in the shallow/beach area of our swimming pool. A variety of flotation devices and aquatic toys are accessible to participants. This program is offered free of charge thanks to funding contributions provided by the Government of Northwest Territories.
Supervision
Children 8 year of age and under MUST be accompanied by an active supervisor. Supervisor must obey active supervision regulation listed below, always when in pool area.
Active Supervision
Caregiver must provide active supervision by being in the water with the child(ren) under their care and remain within defined reach.
Caregiver who does not meet active supervision requirement mentioned below while in swimming pool area must or may be asked to:
Transfer caregiver responsibility to a qualified individual.
Leave pool area with tot or child(ren) in their charge.
Caregiver and tot/child(ren) in their care remain in pool area as spectators as defined in this document.
Caregiver Supervision
Caregiver is defined as an individual who is directly responsible for the active supervision of a child(ren) trusted into their care during the full duration of a Swimming Pool swim or rental.

Children and tots ages 0-2 must:
Be accompanied by a caregiver 16 years or over in age.
Ratio for caregiver to child/tot must be a minimum of 1:1 (one caregiver for one child/tot). A ratio of 2:1 may be allowed provided that one or 2 of the tots/children are placed in an appropriate flotation device. Swimming pool staff hold the discretion to deny or cancel a 2:1 ratio if active supervision is deemed insufficient/unsafe.
Caregiver must remain within arms reach, max 1 metre from child/tot at all times
Children ages 3-6 must:
Be accompanied by a caregiver 16 years or over in age.
Ratio for caregiver to child(ren) must be a minimum of 1:4 (one caregiver for four children).
Caregiver must remain within arms reach, max 5 metre distance from child(ren) at all times.
Child(ren) must always wear a yellow wrist band when in pool area.
The wearing of a flotation device or lifejacket on the child(ren) is strongly recommended.
Children ages 7-8 must:
Be accompanied by a caregiver 13 years or over in age.
Ratio for caregiver to child(ren) must be a minimum of 1:4 (one caregiver for four children).
Caregiver must remain within reach; 5-10 metres distance from child(ren) at all times.
Child(ren) should always wear a red wrist band when in the pool area.
The wearing of a flotation device or lifejacket on the child(ren) is strongly recommended.
