The Town of Fort Smith Daycare
The Fort Smith Early Childhood Centre opened in 2020, to provide quality childcare and early childhood programming to Fort Smith residents.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday (closed on statutory holidays)
8:00am – 5:15pm
Children may attend for a half day (picked up by 12:15pm) or full day (picked up by 5:15pm).
Each day's schedule includes a variety of activities, morning and afternoon snacks, and a lunch. For sample schedules, menus, and fee information, please see the parent handbook.
The Town of Fort Smith Afterschool Care Program
The Fort Smith Early Childhood Centre has capacity to take additional students for a few hours after school. The after school program runs until 5:15pm and also includes a snack and a schedule of activities.

Our goal is for parents to feel good about their children’s care and to provide an early childhood centre setting in which children can feel “at home” even while they are here. We strive for children in our care to feel loved and cared for and to experience themselves as delightful and enjoyable.
