The GNWT Assessment Services Division is issuing a Revised Notice of Assessment for some Fort Smith property owners.
A technical error was identified that affected the assessed improvement value (buildings/structures) for certain properties. This revised notice corrects that issue.
If you receive a new Notice of Assessment, please disregard the Notice of Assessment mailed on:
- December 19, 2025
- (previous appeal deadline: February 2, 2026)
Should you have received a new notice of assessment, please note that the deadline to appeal to the Board of Revision falls on March 18th.
If you already submitted a complaint (appeal), a revised notice will not be sent to you. Your complaint will proceed and will be heard by the Board of Revision (BOR).
