    The Fireweed Festival is the premier Music Festival in the Town of Fort Smith. Every August, dozens of performers from around the Northwest Territories & Northern Canada gather to put on a multi-day festival. 

    This year's Festival will take place at various locations including Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park from Friday, August 23rd to Sunday, August 25th. 

     
    The activities will include:
    • Kick off Party  (Dirty O' Fergies)
    • Ignite the Night Party (Salt River Business & Conference Centre)
    • Music at Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park from 12PM-7PM on Saturday & Sunday
    • Local Art & Food Vendors at Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park from 12PM-7PM on Saturday & Sunday
    Expect over a dozen talent musicians to perform:

    Many of the Fireweed Festival event are free to attend, however; some events, like the evening parties require tickets.
