Swimming pool
Opened in 2007, the Fort Smith Swimming Pool is a family-friendly facility designed with easy access for children, seniors, and the mobility-challenged. Features include:
- Four swimming lanes, 1m to 2.5m in depth
- Beach area for children's play
- Waterfall play feature
- Two water slides
- Jacuzzi hot tub
- Sauna
- Steam room
The swimming pool is located in the Recreation and Community Centre. Programs include:
- Recreational swim times for public, family, adult, lane
- Swimming lessons for children and adults
- Aquafit classes
- Fort Smith Hurricanes Swim Club
- Kayaking
- Rentals for birthday parties and large groups
Recreation Swim Rates
Child is defined as 6 years and under
Student is defined as 18 years or under; or attending university or college with valid student ID
Senior is defined as 60 years and older

Rental Rates
60 minutes
$70 for the first 25 people, plus $25 for additional people up to 50 persons
Birthday party
$80 for the first 25 people, plus $25 for additional people up to 50 persons (includes one hour pool rental, one hour birthday room rental)
