Muffaloose
This is the tale, as recalled by Ib Kristensen, of the discovery of the legendary Muffaloose. The Muffaloose became the mascot for the Town of Fort Smith.
Fort Smith Visitor Reception Centre - WBNP
Located at the federal building, 149 McDougal Road. Open daily, May 15 - September 5, 2011 open 7 days of the week 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Winter hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Park facilities are open May 13 to September 20, 2011. Featuring: 20 minute presentation, exhibits, park information, backcountry registration, videos, souvenir sales (park video and park poster), and more. Wheelchair-accessible.
