Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park is a full-service campground catering to campers in both RVs and tents. Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park is located at the eastern end of the Wood Buffalo route, close to the centre of the community of Fort Smith, gateway to Wood Buffalo National Park. There are trails around the park, and to the Slave River and the Rapids of the Drowned.

Queen Elizabeth Territorial Park is open from May 15 to September 15. Trails within the park may be accessible by foot outside of those dates, but they are not maintained or cleared of snow, and so you enter at your own risk. Services such as toilets and garbage removal are not maintained or provided outside the operating season. To book a campsite, please see the link below.

Most serviced NWT parks are open from May 15th to September 15th. Campsites, day-use areas, and kitchen shelters in NWT parks can be booked online at http://www.campingnwt.ca/.
